As the day approaches noon, the weather heats up, sunny and the temp reaching the high 70's. (I even came home with sunburned arms and ears (?!?!?).)The walking continues as teams start to break down the non-essentials -- tents and canopies disappear, food and prizes are given away, and a line of folks carrying stuff to their vehicles. The overnighters begin to show their lack of sleep, stumbling about.
